Throughout the month of February, USD 232 recognized five exceptional staff members with the TORCH Award. This honor celebrates team members who go above and beyond, demonstrating remarkable dedication to students and the district community.

The recipients for February were:

• Martin Juarez, lead day custodian at De Soto High School
• Robert (Joe) Kordalski, social worker at De Soto High School
• Susan Smith, French teacher at De Soto High School
• Stephanie Chaponniere, math aide at Riverview Elementary
• Kelsey Werries, kindergarten teacher at Riverview Elementary
