District Student Advisory Application

The Student Advisory Team is a group of students that meet regularly with the superintendent to discuss a variety of topics that impact students. The Team is made up of two students from each grade from both De Soto and Mill Valley High Schools. At the beginning of each school year, two freshmen from each school are selected. Membership on the Team is a four-year term. However, membership is contingent on remaining a student in good standing. In general, the Team will:

1. Discuss student opportunities, questions, and concerns throughout the District

2. Meet at least once per quarter with meeting location alternating between Mill Valley and De Soto High.

3. The district will provide all transportation.

4. Meeting time will typically be 11:30-12:30 (lunch will be provided)

Meeting information and other announcements are communicated through district email and Remind.

If you are interested in representing your grade and school on the Student Advisory Team, fill out the information below and submit it to your school office by the end of the school day on September 3, 2021.
